Notes (Ascension Day)
- Classic Ascension Day OT reading. Daniel 7 + Psalm 110 = the two foundational texts for Christian ascension theology.
- Paired today with Matthew 28:16–20 (the Great Commission). Matt 28:18 — "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me" — is the direct Daniel 7:14 callback. See Matthew 28 notes for the gospel side of the parallel.
