Revelation 14
One of the false questions of reading Revelation is “Is this about the past, the future, or about all times?” And I think the answer is, “Yes.” Apocalyptic literature was rarely only about “What will be,” but also about “What is right now.” And, of course, as readers throughout generations read an apocalypse the circumstances around “What is right now” change; and yet people still manage to make the apocalypse about their generation.
